“Newborn screening tests required; newborn screening advisory committee under the public health law”
Every physician, hospital, nurse midwife, midwife, or other health care provider attending a newborn child must test a newborn child for metabolic disorders. The Department of Health and Human Services must annually report to the state legislature regarding newborn screening tests.
