Responsibilities of Hospitals
Requires psychiatric hospitals that provide Medicaid services to maintain medical and fiscal records. Specifies the information that must be included in records (e.g., assessments and diagnostic data, identification data, treatment plans, etc.). Requires hospitals to use an interdisciplinary team to develop an individual plan of care for each patient.
