Connecticut establishes a Resident’s Bill of Rights for residents of managed residential communities. The bill of rights includes: (1) the right to directly obtain service from health care professionals in their residential unit or a space provided by the community; (2) the right to have their records and communications treated as confidential in accordance with federal and state laws: and (3) the right to receive medical treatment in privacy.
