Reporting by hospitals and institutions,
Requires administrators of hospitals or institutions to report cases or suspected cases of fetal alcohol syndrome to the Department of Health. Clarifies that reports to the Department do not fulfill a hospital or institution’s obligation to report child abuse or eliminate a physician’s obligation to report. Permits administrators to designate someone to make the report on their behalf. Defines hospitals and institutions as including health care facilities and health and government operated correctional or health institutions.
