Remedies
Establishes a civil cause of action for persons harmed by violations of Iowa’s HIV/AIDS law. Subjects persons that intentionally or recklessly disclose HIV/AIDS information to a $1,000 civil fine. Makes persons that violate the HIV/AIDS confidentiality requirements guilty of an aggravated misdemeanor.
