Requires hospital pharmacies to maintain records for at least two years following the last entry unless a longer time period is specified. Grants the Pharmacy Board authority to inspect and copy records. Specifies the medication order information that inpatient records must contain (e.g., patient name, drug name, practitioner’s signature, etc.). Requires each medication administration to be documented in patients’ medical records.
