Hospital pharmacies must maintain the following:
- A record of all drug transactions, correlated with other hospital records;
- Special records as required;
- A system of records and bookkeeping in accordance with the policies of the hospital;
- Records for drugs dispensed from the pharmacy, maintained in the pharmacy;
- Records of drugs administered to patients, maintained in the patient’s medical record;
- Copies of records of all adverse drug reactions and sensitivities maintained as required by law, for at least two years.
