“Record of prescription orders; inspections; confidentiality”
Persons in charge of a pharmacy must maintain records of prescription orders for at least seven years. The board of pharmacy must establish rules requiring hospital pharmacies to maintain records of prescription orders for at least seven years. Pharmacists must comply with federal and state laws regarding the disclosure of patient prescription information.
