Quality management functions for health care facilities
Requires health care facilities to perform quality management activities as a means of evaluating and improving patient care. Classifies quality management information as confidential. Provides persons that collect, report, or use quality management information within the scope of their functions immunity from liability arising from such actions. Requires hospitals to perform morbidity and mortality review in order to obtain or renew a their license.
