A naturopathic doctor is a licensed doctor and has the same authority and responsibility as other licensed doctors regarding the reportable disease and conditions, communicable disease control and prevention, recording of vital statistics, and health and physical examinations, except that this authority is limited to activity consistent with the scope of practice.
