“Prohibited acts; violation; classification”
Persons may disclose information from the controlled substances prescription monitoring program if necessary for a professional, regulatory, or law enforcement purpose, if the disclosure is otherwise authorized by the laws establishing the program, or a court order mandates disclosure. Persons that disclose information without proper justification are guilty of a class 6 felony.
