Practice of Chiropractic
Establishes standards for providing telehealth chiropractic services. Requires chiropractors to verify the location and identity of a patient who requests telehealth service, disclose their identity and credentials to the patient, and disclose the limitations to providing services via telehealth. Requires chiropractors to obtain and document the patients informed consent and specifies the information they must include in the consent form (e.g., the patient and chiropractor’s identities, patient agreement that telehealth is appropriate for their treating their condition, a description of the security measures used, etc.).
