Powers and duties of office of health equity
Tasks the Office of Health Equity with promoting health equity by taking actions to address the social determinants of health that underpin health disparities. Grants the Office authority to coordinate the health disparities grant program, provide education on health disparities, plan state-level minority health improvement actions, and coordinate efforts to address health equity both within the Department of Public Health and Environment and with other state or local agencies.
