“Performance Standards for Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Plans”
Health, dental, and vision insurance plans offered state employees, officials, and retirees must comply with the performance standards established by the Arizona department of administration. These standards require plan providers to offer cost competitive plans and adhere to provisions in their contract with the department regarding utilization review, network access, and quality-outcome standards. The department must annually assess participant satisfaction with their plan coverage.
