“Patient tracking during an enhanced surveillance advisory”
The department of health services and local health authorities, when operating during an enhanced surveillance advisory, have the authority to access confidential patient information regarding persons that have or may have been exposed to an illness. Medical information obtained by the department or local health authorities is confidential and cannot be disclosed to the public.
