The Commissioner of Social Services must create methods for increasing outreach and maximizing the enrollment of children and adults in the HUSKY Plan. These methods must include mail in applications and the distribution of outreach material by other state departments. The Commissioner must also develop outreach methods that target medically underserved, Latino, and other minority children and adults. These efforts may include advertising via minority media outlets and public education.
