The Commissioner of Social Services must amend the Medicaid state plan to (1) provide optional hospice services; and (2) add foreign language interpreter services to the list of Medicaid covered services. The Commissioner must establish billing codes for foreign language interpreter services. Care management organizations that provide interpreter services, pursuant to a contract with the Department of Social Services, must submit semi-annual reports regarding such services to the department.
