The Department of Human Services will report to each odd-numbered year regular session of the Legislative Assembly on the safety of individuals receiving developmental disability services, including:
- The number of complaints of abuse, reported by type of allegations;
- The number of direct care workers in service settings who were subject to criminal or civil action involving an individual with a developmental disability; and
- The number of deaths, serious injuries, sexual assaults and rapes alleged to have occurred in service settings.
The department will provide this report to the appropriate legislative committees, the Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities and to the agency designated to administer the state protection and advocacy program.
