Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACEs) must have a planned, systematic and ongoing process for monitoring, collecting and evaluating data. Each PACE must use that process to improve the quality and appropriateness of services provided to PACE participants. The process must include an internal Quality Improvement Program, operated by a designated Quality Improvement Coordinator, who will develop and coordinate systems to facilitate the work of a Quality Improvement Committee. Each PACE must have a written quality assessment and performance improvement plan.
