As a condition of participation in the medical assistance program, pharmacies must permit authorized officials to conduct onsite reviews for the purpose of verifying claims information and allow such officials to access records and documents necessary to determine the pharmacy’s compliance with federal and state law, including medical assistance prescriptions on file and the pricing system used by the store, including patient profile. 55 Pa.
