“Program ability to share data under the division of public health services regulations”
Health information maintained by the New Hampshire birth conditions program must be used to determine the prevalence and trends of birth conditions, to develop and assess prevention strategies, and to promote scientific collaboration. Individually identifiable health information is confidential and may only be disclosed to the individual that the information pertains to or the individual’s parent or legal representative or for research purposes. Individuals who fraudulently request data must be subject to the penalty for unsworn falsifications.
