“Client services under the division of public health services regulations”
Birthing centers must inform clients on its policies regarding client rights and responsibilities, complaint procedure, and obtain written confirmation of knowledge and receipt of the policies. Birthing centers must maintain records for every client. A client’s record must maintain written notes for all care and services provided and any unanticipated accidents, deaths or absences of the client. Client records must be safeguarded against loss, damage or unauthorized use by being stored in a secure area. Client records must be retained for a minimum of four years after discharge.
