“Complaint under the division of mental health and developmental services regulations”
A complaint may be made by any person including an individual, an individual’s guardian, an applicant for services, or an employee of the Department of Health and Human Services or a mental health facility, community mental health program, community mental health provider, or any of their subcontracted services providers.
A complaint may be made orally or in writing to any employee of a mental health facility, community mental health program, community mental health provider, or any of their subcontracted services providers. Complaints alleging coercion, restraint, seclusion, or retaliation must be made to the complaint manager of a mental health facility, community mental health program, community mental health provider, or any of their subcontracted services providers or to the Office of Client and Legal Services.
