“Obligation to maintain patient record under the board of chiropractic examiners regulations”
A chiropractor must maintain patient records for a period of five years following the end of treatment. The medical records must include the following: a description of the patient’s chief complaint or reason for initiating care; the patient’s medical history; a record of procedures provided; and the images used for diagnostic purposes.
