Publication of comparative physician fee information
The health care data committee must create a data collection, processing, retention and reporting system that will allow the distribution of comparative average charge information by licensed physicians. Insurers, nonprofit health service corporations, health maintenance organizations, and state agencies must provide this information. The health care data committee must prepare a report that includes a schedule of average charges for services representative of the physician’s practice and specialization.
