A review entity must keep confidential the identity of any individual “studied” while carrying out their functions; the individual’s name and address cannot appear in any records, reports, findings, or conclusions that are published or released to the public. A review entity’s records, reports, findings, and conclusions are also confidential. These documents are not subject to discovery and are not admissible as evidence during a civil or administrative proceeding.
