A health care provider who submits reports to the Department of Community Health regarding childhood immunizations must allow the Department to inspect patients' medical records for quality asssurance and verification purposes. The Department may also require the provider to submit missing information from the records. However, the use of the patient's medical record is limited to verifying immunization data.
