A Medicaid managed care organization must provide access to health care services and information in:
- A culturally sensitive manner;
- At an appropriate reading comprehension level;
- In the prevalent non-English languages identified by Maryland; and
- In a manner that accommodates individuals with disabilities.
The managed care organization must provide interpreter services free of charge to each enrollee or applicant who does not speak English or is hearing impaired.
