A Medicaid participating provider delivering care to the Healthy Start Program must:
- Not discriminate based on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, marital status, physical or mental handicap;
- Maintain patient records for 6 years; and
- Agree to on-site visits by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to ensure compliance with state regulations.
