“Labeling, Recordkeeping, Storage, and Packaging of Drugs”
Licensed osteopathic physicians must comply with standards for labeling, storing, and packaging prescription drugs. Osteopathic physicians must maintain records of prescription orders that are sequentially numbered, dated, and maintained apart from patient records. Osteopathic physicians must file Class II controlled substance prescription records separately from Class III, IV, and V controlled substance prescription records.
