Iowa's child vision screening database module and follow-up.
Authorizes the Department of Public Health to create a vision screening database as a means of enforcing vision screening requirements and monitoring the eye health of Iowa students. Prohibits use of the database information for marketing, bill collection, or other purposes not authorized by this rule. Classifies identifying information from the database as confidential and prohibits disclosure unless expressly authorized (e.g., to the child’s parents or guardians, to agencies that enter into a data use agreement with the Department, etc.).
