Investigations
Requires the Long Term Care Ombudsman to look into all received complaints. Requires the Ombudsman, when appropriate, to question persons with knowledge about the complaint, enter the facility at the center of the complaint, and show identification upon request. Requires the Ombudsman to comply with privacy notification requirements if access to a resident’s medical records is relevant to the inquiry.
