“Investigations; hearings; conferences; records; confidentiality”
Arizona classifies information and records maintained by the board of pharmacy in relation to investigations as confidential. The board of pharmacy may obtain information relevant to an investigation even if such information is normally protected by the physician-patient privilege. Employees and agents of the board of pharmacy must keep the identities of patients confidential.
