Identifies the powers and duties of the Board of the Catastrophic Healthcare Cost Program as including the provision of payments for medically necessary indigent care, the power to negotiate provider agreements, and the power to require annual reporting by hospitals. Specifies the data elements that such reporting may include (e.g., costs of charitable care, 990 tax forms, demographic information regarding the indigent patient, etc. ).
