Identifies the circumstances in which a licensed midwife must transfer a newborn to a hospital (e.g., infant displays respiratory distress, seizure like activity, abnormal bleeding, etc.). Identifies the circumstances in which a midwife must consult a pediatric provider (e.g., infant has congenital anomalies, jaundice, no urine for over 24 hours, etc.).
