Hearing Screening
Requires newborn infants to undergo hearing screening. Requires hospitals to report screening results to the Department of Health on at least a monthly basis and identifies the data they must include in these reports (e.g., number of birth, pass-fail results, etc.). Requires hospitals to establish a system for referring infants that fail the screening for follow-up care.
