“Genetic testing; informed consent; definitions”
Arizona prohibits insurers from requiring or performing a genetic test unless the tested individual has given their written informed consent to the testing. Arizona classifies genetic test results as privileged and confidential; tested individuals must consent to the disclosure of their test results.
