General Organization of Trauma Plan
Requires the Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) to collect information regarding the clinical components of the trauma system (e.g., triage, prehospital care) and the evaluation components (e.g., standards of care, quality improvement). Identifies the persons that must participate in the Wyoming Trauma Coalition (WTC) and requires the WTC to perform quality review, consultation, and education tasks. Requires the WTC to create a quality improvement plan and a written plan that addresses items such as ongoing assessment of care based on trauma registry data and policies for maintaining the confidentiality of outcomes data and information from quality assurance committee meetings.
