“Right of inspection; copies; inspection reports; plan for correction of deficiencies under the Health Care Licensing Procedures Act”
The Agency for Health Care Administration may inspect any licensed health care facility biennially. The inspections must be unannounced. The agency may have access to copies of all provider records during an inspection. A deficiency must be corrected within 30 days after the health care facility is notified of the inspection results unless an alternative timeframe is required or approved by the agency. The agency may require the health care facility to submit a correction plan for deficiencies within 10 calendar days after notification. Health care facilities must maintain records of all inspection reports as public information for 3 years following the date the reports are filed and issued.
