“Subscriber grievance reporting and resolution requirements under the insurance law”
Every health maintenance organization must have a grievance procedure for its enrollees to address complaints and grievances. A health maintenance organization must notify its enrollees that they may submit a grievance within 1 year after the date of occurrence of the action that initiated the grievance. The health maintenance organization must resolve a grievance within 60 days after receipt of the grievance or within 3 days for an urgent grievance.
