“Disciplinary guidelines under the Department of Health regulations”
The Board of Psychology may discipline and fine psychologists for a variety of grounds including:
- Filing a false report;
- Paying or receiving a kickback;
- Sexual misconduct or battery on a patient;
- Making misleading or deceptive representations;
- Failing to provide records;
- Mental or physical incompetence;
- Experimentation without informed consent; and
- Negligence.
