Expanded disclosure of test results prohibited.
Limits disclosure of test results for blood borne pathogens to persons tested, persons whose exposure necessitated the test, health care providers of the exposed individuals, and in accordance with 45 CFR 164.512. Prohibits exposed individuals that receive test results from disclosing the information. Permits law enforcement officers that are exposed to disclose test results to other officers that had direct contact with the test subject if disclosure is necessary to ensure the health of the other officer(s). Limits disclosure in such case to the minimum necessary.
