Emergency Services
Requires ambulatory surgical centers to establish emergency services policies, to reach an agreement with a nearby hospital for transfers, and to provide the hospital with a patient’s medical record when making a transfer. Requires physicians that operate within the center to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.
