Criminal Penalty
Classifies violations of Wyoming’s genetic information law as misdemeanor offenses subject to a maximum $1,000 fine per violation. Grants individuals affected by violations of this law the ability to file seek an injunction and/or damages in civil court. Permits the prevailing party in a civil action to recover reasonable court costs and attorneys fees.
