“Covered health and medical services; modifications; related delivery of service requirements”
Children’s Health Insurance Program contractors must provide certain medically necessary health and medical services (e.g., inpatient hospital services, medications, lab and x-ray services, etc.). The director of the AHCCCS must establish rules regarding care coordination that address patient transfer, medical records transfer, and initiating medical care.
