Confidentiality of Records
Classifies applications for medical assistance and information and records regarding medical assistance applicants and enrollees as confidential. Prohibits disclosure unless necessary to administer the medical assistance program or prevent the duplicate provision of benefits. Requires the Department of Health to require medical assistance applicants and recipients to authorize the release of information for payment purposes.
