“Confidentiality of records; unauthorized disclosure unlawful; classification”
Attending physicians and surgeons, home health agencies, local or state health officers, and other persons designated by the director of health services my access records related to the provision of home health services (e.g., clinical records, laboratory reports, medical reports). Such records are otherwise confidential. Persons that access or disclose records without authorization are criminally liable for a class 2 misdemeanor.
