“Confidentiality of records”
Arizona classifies all information and records generated while providing developmental disability services as confidential. Arizona specifies the limited circumstances in which such information and records may be disclosed (e.g., pursuant to a court order, in relation to the provision of services, to law enforcement officials, etc.). Persons that properly receive such information may only use it to carry out their duties and are prohibited from releasing it further.
