Community Health Centers and Rural Health Clinics
Establishes a process for the Department of Health to issue grants for community health center and rural health clinic capital construction and start up costs. Requires grantees to treat Medicaid and CHIP patients as a priority for at least the first three years of their grant agreement. Requires the Department of Health and the Office of Rural Health to collect and maintain data on the impact of the primary care support grants on health outcomes.
