Central registry for brain or spinal cord injuries.
Requires the Director of Public Health to establish a central registry for brain and spinal cord injuries and for hospitals to report patients who were admitted for such injuries within 45 days of the end of the quarter during the patient was discharged. Specifies the information that hospitals must include in these reports (e.g., patient name, cause of injury, etc.). Classifies registry data as confidential, but permits disclosure for research purposes or disclosure to the person with the injury or their parents or guardians.
